Midland Yoga Works offers movement classes led by highly skilled instructors dedicated to rebuilding and refreshing the body, mind, and spirit through creative focus on postures. Our classes enhance alignment, mental clarity, emotional balance, and spiritual well-being. Experience yoga with diverse body postures ("asanas") using props like belts, blocks, and blankets for accessibility and comfort, making it suitable for all ages.

For yoga classes, wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely and doesn't restrict your movement. Many people opt for breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics like yoga leggings or shorts paired with a tank top or t-shirt. Avoid clothing with zippers, buttons, or anything that might dig into your skin during poses. Additionally, consider wearing layers that you can easily remove if you get too warm during the practice.

We have mats, blocks, straps, blankets, bolsters, towels, water, etc. at the studio for you to borrow and no charge. If you have any of these props, feel free to bring them. However, we love friendly smiles, good attitudes, and willing spirits. We know that your first time to any new place is kind of scarey. We will take care of you in the most kind, friendly way we know how.

You can sign up for classes either on our classes page or directly via MindBody Mobile App available for both iOS and Android. If you do not already have an account with Mindbody you will be asked to create one during the registration process. Note: Once you create an account you may be asked to verify with your email address. You can Search for Midland Yoga Works and mark it as your favorite. You can log into your Mindbody account at any time using the email address you used and the password. You can register for classes, pay for classes, see your schedule, check in, cancel a class you scheduled., etc.. If you have trouble, no problem, just come on to class and we will help you register.

Once you log onto your MindBody account, you can see all your upcoming classes. Here you have an option to "Early Cancel." If you click Early Cancel, the class goes back on your account and you can use that payment for another class. If "Early Cancel" isn't an option, then text Cyndi and she will cancel you from the class so you won't be charged.

Yoga is a life-long journey of understanding and practice. Yoga is a discipline of skill and self awareness not flexibility. You start your journey right where you are. Everyone comes to class just as they are physically, emotionally and spiritually. We hope to help you develop skill, awareness, strength, flexibility , and understanding as you attend class. It is not so much about touching your toes as what you learn on the way down. Breathe .... Smile and just Be ... you!

Yes, we offer Kid's Aerial Yoga Classes twice a week during the school year and a Kids Summer Yoga Camp during the summer. The Kid's Aerial Classes run in 6-week sessions. Check the website under Events to see when the next session begins.

Yes, we have regularly scheduled Prenatal Classes taught by one of our instructors specifically trained in Prenatal Yoga. These Prenatal - only classes generally occur twice a month on a Saturday. Many pregnant women also come to our Level 1 and Gentle Classes. All of our Level 1 and Gentle instructors have been to a Prenatal / Postnatal Instructor Training (in addition to their 200 or 300 hr yoga training.). We want you to feel cared for and confident that we have you and your baby's best interest at heart. Check the Website for the upcoming Prenatal Classes.
